For starters, it’s important to note that you retain all intellectual property rights for any products or product designs that you share via 3D Warehouse.

Architects, interior designers and construction industry professionals need product models to help them communicate and plan various aspects of the design and construction process. The ‘design files’ you make available for these processes can be (and should be) visually and dimensionally accurate representations of your products. Design files, however, do not need to include information about internal workings of your products, nor do they need to be modeled to a level of detail that would give others the ability to manufacture similar products by repurposing the design files.
